Kids Involuntarily Inhaling Secondhand Smoke
Kids Involuntarily Inhaling Secondhand Smoke (KIISS) was founded in April of 2000 with a mission, "Dedicated to eliminating kids' involuntary inhalation of secondhand smoke and its multiple health risks."
Members of KIISS' board include those who were influential in passing California's statewide workplace smoking ban, AB 13, in 1994.
Today KIISS is working to educate those in other states about the success of California's smoking ban in workplaces and restaurants. In California, it is also working to educate smokers on the need to create smoke-free homes and cars to eliminate environmental tobacco smoke when kids are present.
KIISS welcomes input from anyone concerned about restaurant smoking, workplace smoking, clean indoor air, childhood asthma, kids smoking, teen smoking, secondhand smoke health risks, or any other topic related to secondhand tobacco pollution.
Sincerely,
Paul McIntyre
President & CEO
