KIISS Announces Mini-Grant Available for High Schools

Kids Involuntarily Inhaling Secondhand Smoke (KIISS), in participation with First 5 Placer Children and Families Commission is inviting mini-grant proposals for funding up to $3,000. This exciting grant offers funding for the production of a video by teenagers for teenagers. This video is intended to increase awareness among teenagers about the dangers of secondhand smoke, particularly to children.
 
This project is open to Placer County High School classes, clubs, school activities and even teams of students, with an adult mentor/advisor taking responsibility for the grant. The deadline for receipt of proposals is September 21, 2007.
